I have been a big fan of Table Magazine ever since they launched their first issue a few years ago. The styling and photography is always so clean and beautiful, so it is beyond an honour to have my work published here! And it’s even sweeter because the article is an interview with my good friend and collaborator on many projects, Rute Porto, of Be Aromatic. She recently published a beautiful cookbook which I also photographed (more on that to come) and I’m proud to see her get the recognition she very much deserves.
Well hi there. Only a year and a half late, but I’m just popping in to share a feature I had in Qantas Airlines inflight magazine last year. Croatia is one of my favourite countries in the world and Dubrovnik is mindblowingly beautiful. I would go back again in a heartbeat and am thrilled to have these images published. Heres a link to the full magazine, online version.
Earlier this year I was contacted by Flydoscope Magazine to be a tourist in my “home town”… its always fun to pretend to be a foreigner (well, I kind-of am a foreigner) in a city that I know so well, a travel photographer in Lisbon for the first time. Its a challenge, actually, to see a place you know well with fresh eyes but I really enjoyed this assignment and in this digital era it´s always a thrill to see my work in print, and even more exciting that it was the cover story. Bonus points, the editor who commissioned…
A few months ago I spent the day in Lisbon shooting the LX Factory for Transavia´s onboard publication, Enjoy! Magazine. You can see the online edition HERE or onboard Transavia over the next few months.
At the beginning of the year I was introduced to the site Mr Hudson Explores by a friend and fellow photographer Emanuele Siracusa, who asked me to co-produce a a few articles with him (his photos, my text). Since then, and co-inciding with our van-life adventure across Europe, I have been able to write and photograph several pieces for the site… the latest of which is a Dubrovnik city guide. I am really enjoying working together with the Mr Hudson team and it´s been great to watch this project grow and develop over this first year of it´s existence, here´s to many more!…
Earlier this year I was contacted by Rhapsody, United Airlines inflight magazine, to photograph the Portuguese street artist Vhils and his works in Lisbon. I have been a huge fan of his work for many years and it was amazing to have the chance to meet him and hear more about his work and inspiration. The article ran in the September issue, you can see it in First and Business class on United Airlines, or see the story online HERE
Mr Hudson is a recently launched travel blog and I am very excited to be on board as one of their contributing writers/photographers. I recently wrote and photographed a Cape Town Travel Guide for them, see the full article HERE, as well as my other contributions.
Tiny Atlas Quarterly is one of my very favourite online travel magazines and I´ve been a fan since they published the first issue in 2013, so it goes without saying that I am very stoked to have one of my images on the cover of their latest, the West Coast issue. Apart from their inspiring imagery and creative layout, what I love about TAQ is that it´s a labour of love, a personal project started by Californian photographer Emily Nathan, that has grown exponentially since it launched a few years back. What started out as a space for creative collaborations and…
The October 2015 Edition of Marie Claire is out on the shelves in the UK and several of my images are published as part of a Brazil travel story. Not all the images published are mine, but they used one of my images as the opening page, which is quite cool. Unfortunately they credited me as Kerry Murphy, not Kerry Murray, but as the issue is already out, there´s nothing to be done about that… maybe I should consider a name change? 😉 Click HERE to see my original images taken in Salvador da Bahia at the end of last year.
Tear sheets from an article I photographed a few months back for Accent Magazine, AeroMexico´s first and business class in-flight mag.
