The beautiful Hotel das Amoreiras is nestled in the heart of Lisbon, a discreet luxury boutique hotel in Lisbon’s exclusive garden square: Jardim das Amoreiras. An insider’s address in the heart of Lisbon for the true aesthete seeking the comfort accommodation expected by the modern traveller. I first photographed the hotel for the second edition of the Lisbon Insiders Magazine and then again the following summer, focusing more specifically on their restaurant, bar and lifestyle images for their social media. Hotel Independente Comporta
Last summer I spent a few days out in Comporta photographing the brand new Independente hotel, Independente Comporta. Independente Comporta features 34 Villas, from studios to 5-bedroom courtyard homes, and a 40-bedroom hotel. Their restaurant, Maroto, is headed by chef David Vieira. “Fun and engaging, Maroto was designed to be in perfect harmony with its surroundings. Our commitment to Alentejo flavours is evident in each dish served. We work closely with local producers who maintain sustainable practices, ensuring their freshness but also the inclusion of the community.”
