A belated Happy New Year, lovely people! 2013 is here, in full force… and the internet is full of people looking back, people looking forward… there’s something about this time of year that does that to you. So I’m not entirely jumping on the “retrospective” band wagon with this one, although these photos were taken may months ago and have been waiting patiently for me to do something with them. And I’m also not going to make any promises/resolutions about blogging more frequently, because I did that last year and look how far that got me! So.
The Azores!! Terceira Island, more specifically… which is mind-blowingly beautiful, a strange and volcanic place where the green of the hills seems almost unreal in it’s intensity… where there are the most amazing forests and sulphurous moors that make you feel like you’ve travelled back in time to when the world was newly born… and where there are cows. Lots, and lots of cows. Everywhere. There are few places in the world where you can blame the cattle for making you late for work, but Terceira is definitely one of those places.

Thanks for your kind words! I wish I could post more too, but unfortunately this blog is a personal project of mine and has to fit around my “day job”… which doesn’t leave me with as much time to shoot (or blog) as I would like.
