Back in the spring of 2023 I photographed Lisbon for The New York Times: 36 Hours in Lisbon and had the best time on this shoot. Living in Ericeira means that I´m close enough to get into the city quickly but far enough that I don´t do it daily, which makes it an adventure and Lisbon is a city I´ve been exploring for over 14 years now… it´s so familiar that it´s been a while since I´ve photographed the city with intention.
