We almost didn´t go to Croatia, as we´d heard that wild camping is illegal and that the authorities are super strict and take some sort of peverse pleasure in rooting out campers and making life miserable. You guys, I am so stoked… Fathom recently released their annual list of 24 best travel photographers and I made the 2017 selection! Beach camping at Praia da Galé | Portugal

We spent a few days this summer at Praia da Galé, on the Alentejo coast just south of Comporta… it´s one of our favourite spots to camp in Portugal and I always feel like we never have enough time while we´re there. This environment, these photos, brings out the dreamer in me… makes me want to drop everything and hit the road indefinitely.

Rome was, of course, amazing… always is. We had a wonderful few days, just about walked ourselves to death and ate enough cheese to last a life-time… and of course took loads of photos.
